C++/VB - Making analogue call

Hello

At start i want to mention that i'm new to TAPI programming.
So as a newbie, i want to ask: is it possible to make analogue call using
tapi and panasonic pbx? The whole idea looks like this: simple app tries to
make list of calls. If one call reach destination number(call-receiver
picked up handset and said hello), application shows a monit to a caller who
picks up handset to talk.
Is it possible to to do?
Is it a problem that phones use analogue lines?

Thx for replies

Hi Tom, sure. Any TAPI device could do what you want. Different
PBX's may handle it differently. I do not remember how the Panasonic
does it, but usually you dial and it rings the phone for you to pick
up while it is ringing. It assumes you are an agent at a desk and
need to manage the call. In this case, the part where it senses a
voice connect and then rings you is the problem. Some PBX's can
handle this directly, or you could use something like a CTI port and
that routes the call on connect to whatever phone you want. But a lot
depends on how the call is handled when it leaves the PBX. For
example, if you dial out on VoIP lines and hit a gateway, that gateway
could issue a connect and you really are not connecting to the end
point. You said you were using analog lines, so the key thing is if
your device does voice recognition.

How almost all our clients do this is with an analog device. You put
something like a Dialogic Card, SST Card, Hi-Phone etc, in front of or
behind the PBX. It handles the call and does what it needs to do,
dial, talk via wave files to the called party, gets responses from
them, etc and then connects to whatever line you want it to. We write
software to do this often as do clients who use our tools to do it.

Panasonic TSP & VB NET C++ / VB Hi, I have seen some posts by people knowledgable in the Panasonic TSP TAPI - I was hoping soemone coudl help me. I have a TDE200 PBX and can program with Visual Basic .NET - but seem to be struggling getting started with the Panasonic TSP. My question is - can I use Panasonic TSP (TAPI) to program a rsponse when a call is made or received to trigger code, but a key press would achieve the same thing). Any examples of using the Panasonic TSP in a VB .NET app would be extremly appreciated. Alternativly - the Panasonic C# SDK is offered at aprpox $550 but I'd rather not spend that money NET & TAPI. Get notified about incoming calls, Vista and Dialogic Analog 4P C++ / VB Hello! I have a problem with a Dialogic Diva analog card on Windows Vista. The application I'm trying to run is using t seem to get told that there is an incoming call. I have: * Installed the Dialogic Diva drivers (the configuration manager claims to be part of the system release 8.5.9), including the TAPI-stuff. * Made sure there is a Dialogic Telephony service Provider in Control Panel -> Phone and Modem Options * There is also a "TAPI service next to the "CAPI" service in the dialogic configuration manager. * I have tried calling out using the line tester. Works fine (however, this probably uses the Dialogic in house CAPI-driver, so it only really says that the hardware works for outbound some info when I tell the program to connect to the diva card. * Started the Dialogic tracing for TAPI. Getting TAPI to work with Dialogic SR 6.0 Dialogic Drivers? C++ / VB There are too many variables to do this by brute force. I is a PCI Express bus. So first, I wonder if anyone has ever gotten the Dialogic Configuration Manager to start with the 5.1.1 drivers and this card? I can What are the exact steps? What goes where and must anything be registered with regsvr32? Dialogic had a D41mt.tsp file, but there also looked like a dll there. There might help?
