Hi friends,

Can any one tell me that waht is the significance of the call data (i.e.,

Thanks,

Mohit,
Depending on the service provider implementation, the CallData can be
propagated to all applications having handles to the call, including those
on other machines (through the server), and can travel with the call when it
is transferred.
See my TAPI and TSPI FAQ:
Q: How can I track a call when it is moving from device to device ?

So, does it mean that the call data is always be filled by TAPI application
to track the call or it is fille dby TSP to track the call?

Mohit

Mohit,it is always filled in by TAPI via lineSetCallData(), transparently

Mohit,
it is always filled in by TAPI via lineSetCallData(), transparently passed
by TAPISRV to TSP via TSPI_lineSetCallData().
The TSP only stores the data for this call and provides it via LINCALLINFO
to all TAPI apps interested in this call even on different devices.
